Produced from a 40% Grenache, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% from yields of 45 hectolitres per hecatre the 2007 Cuvee Prestige Rouge was mechanically harvested before a long, temperature controlled maceration. Aged in large, oak vats for 12 to 15 months the wine is an intense ruby red colour with a classic Cabernet nose of black fruits, toast and spice plus cassis, cherry and vanilla. The palate is rich, brimming with small berry fruits. It should drink well for 4 to 5 years.
