Domaine les Pallieres Gigondas Terraces du Diable

Domaine Les Pallieres is a collaboration between US wine merchant Kermit Lynch and the Brunier brothers of Vieux Telegraphe fame. Their cuvée "Terrasse du Diable" encompasses the low-yielding vines from the higher altitudes that express great structure and intense minerality. Aged for 22 months and bottle unfiltered. This wine reveals gloriously sweet black cherry and black raspberry fruit intermixed with notions of licorice, loamy soil, and roasted herbs. With terrific fruit density, a full-bodied richness, and striking elegance and precision, it should drink well for 15 or more years.
