Usa Beer
America pioneered the brewing revolution of the last few decades. In the late 70’s and early 80’s breweries such as Anchor and Sierra Nervada started using American Hops, which has intense flavours and aromas, to brew a new style of beer called an American Pale Ale (APA). This inspired other brewers to start experimenting with new varieties of hops being used in traditional ale styles, which in turn led to many classic beer styles being reinvented, such as the modern style of extra hoppy and bitter IPAs. This brewing revolution resulted in craft beer becoming increasingly popular and reinvigorated the market for great tasting ales.
