Fragrant on the nose with hints of plum and cherry. On the palate it is smooth and soft, showing the typical red fruit, bright character and the acidity of the Barbera grape variety. No oak was used in the production of this wine.

Producer Details
The current owners, the Antinoris of Tuscany, bought and extended the Prunotto holdings in the 1990’s, including plots in the outstanding Bric Turot and Bussia vineyards. The style is modern without being exaggerated: freshness of aroma and approachability of structure are viewed as positives, but copious new oak is not.
