Germany has been producing world class wines for centuries, most famously with the Riesling grape (produced in both dry and sweeter styles), which is indigenous to the country. Historically the wines have varied in quality depending on the particular vintage but today, thanks to climate change, Germany reliably produces wines of an outstanding quality year on year. Climate change has also helped the country produce high quality Pinot Noirs that are beginning to rival Burgundy, particularly those from Baden.
