Cote Rotie "Champon's", Domaine Pichat
Description
85% from the Champons vineyard - a stony, steep vineyard in the northern sector of Cote Rotie. This wine includes approximately 2% Viognier from the same area. The wine is perfumed with violets and red fruits on the nose, which follows to a soft, rich, rounded palate with smooth red fruits, touches of coffee and chocolate, and a lovely mineral backbone.
