Description
The Kasc Project [M] is the world's first Hybrid Cask Single Malt Irish whiskey. An extension to the unique and popular Hybrid Cask Whiskey collection and a continuation of the distillery's journey into the new and previously unknown ways of whiskey making, using unusual and bespoke casks.
The nose displays tropical notes of mango and pineapple with a hint of vanilla. On the palate, charred apricot and caramelised tropical fruits are balanced by espresso burnt sugar notes, and the finish is rich, fruity and creamy.
The cask for this whisky is made up of Portuguese, American, French and Hungarian oak, as well as chestnut. Each stave provides unique flavours to this whiskey.
