La Petite Syrah, Domaine Les Yeuses
Description
The nose is packed with red currant and blueberry aromas. On the palate, this is broad and rounded, and is ripe with perfectly melted tannins and a long finish.
Vinification
The syrah vineyards are located on slightly steeper hillsides with a clay bottom. The grapes are harvested in early September. After destemination of the trusses, a 20-day soaking follows peeling to obtain more fruit aromas. After fermentation at 28 ° C, the young wine is allowed to rest in tanks for 12 months.
Ideal wine for all informal occasions. Versatile, with a slight preference for Mediterranean dishes, both of vegetables and meat or poultry.
