Think Malbec but with a lighter step. It's full of ripe strawberries, cherries and blueberries, as you'd expect, but at just 9.5% every bit as satisfying as the usual Mendoza reds. The secret ingredient is Ancellotta - a little-known variety that deepens the colour and adds a touch of darker berry character. Bright and unoaked, it's a modern take on an Argentine red that's all about fruit, lift and drinkability.

Mauricio Lorca did well at school and college and was all set to go to medical school to train to be a doctor until, one day, a group of viticulture students came to give a talk to his year group.
