Mylonas Sunday Savatiano/Aidani, Mylonas
Description
The bouquet only hints at what's to come with subtle ripeness and clean, fresh aromas. On the palate, this is so fresh with light, elegant, sweet apricot and peach flavours, but balanced by plenty of zingy acidity. This unusual wine is made by chilling the freshly picked grapes and letting them dry in the shade for a week, before pressing the super concentrated juice from the semi-raisined grapes and fermenting in amphora. A tribute to their grandfather who started the family winery, this is an unusually light sweet wine that would work perfectly with fruit-based deserts and panna cotta.
