P Pinot Grigio, Alpha Zeta
Description
The grapes for this Pinot Grigio were handharvested, de-stemmed, crushed and pumped to the press with no addition of sulphur. The juice was chilled immediately and cultured yeasts added to initiate fermentation which took place at low temperatures to retain fruit flavour. The result is a wine which displays a purity of fruit rare in a Pinot Grigio from Veneto. It has a light bosc pear character on the nose, good weight and breadth on the palate with good acidity on the finish which is surprisingly long.
