Puligny Montrachet Les Noyers Bret, Domaine Jean-Marc Pillot
Description
This lovely Puligny-Montrachet comes from a single vineyard just south of the village called Les Noyers Bret, next door to Les Enseignères. Jean-Marc vines were planted in 1973 so at 45 years of age they are right in their sweet spot. Fermented with their natural yeasts and aged in 25% new oak. Puligny’s are often reticent when young but this sings straight away, alovely nose of red apples and sweet brioche followed by a beautifully poised palate, delicious!
