Description
Winemaker Charlie o'Brien fermented the wine in traditional open fermenter and used gentle cap management techniques. He put the pressed wine in a combination of mainly French and some (15%) American hoggies for about 24 months, having not fined or filtered the wine.
This is beautiful wine that hits all the notes you didn’t know needed hitting. Luscious dark plums, blackberry conserve with fresh raspberry notes on the nose. A beautifully velvety mouthfeel unveils foraged berries, Black Forest Cake touches of anise and the lingering caress of gentle tannins.
