Description
An impressive and complex bouquet, rich black fruit aromas, dark chocolate and soft oak lifted by a wonderful freshness. The palate is soft and silky, brimming with rich blackberry and prune fruits, black olives, a dose of cracked pepper supported by smooth, ripe tannins.
A yield of 40hl/ha from 400 metre altitude vineyards, fermented in qvevri and then transferred into 225lt French oak barrels (25% new) for 18 months.
