Veramonte Merlot

Description

At Veramonte, they believe in preserving their paradise. So they are careful to be as sustainable as possible in the winery and they farm all of their vines organically. No nasty chemicals in their vineyards or their wines. The fruit for this Merlot is grown on their estate in the beautiful Casablanca Valley, where it ripens slowly, thanks to the gentle cooling influence of the Pacific Ocean. When it is ripe, they carefully pick and vinify the grapes, and then age the wine for 8 months in oak barrels, resulting in this velvety, elegant, and intense Merlot. Filled with notes of plums, blackberries and raspberry, combined with subtle notes of currants and hints of spices.
