Canadian Spirit
Canada's first recorded distillery was established in Quebec City in 1769. By the mid 19th century over 200 distilling licenses had been registered in the country, and Canada was gaining recognition as a producer of high quality whisky. Today they distill a wide range of spirits but are still well respected for their rye whiskeys.
