Adelaide Hills Wine
Adelaide Hills was established as an official wine region in 1998 and has built its reputation on producing white wines, especially those made with Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay, although there are some great Riesling and Pinot Gris examples made here too. The red wines that are produced tend to be lighter bodied, with Pinot Noir being the most planted red grape variety.
