Bekaa Valley Wine
The Bekaa Valley is the centre of the winemaking industry within Lebanon and most of it sits between 1000m and 1800m altitude. The majority of vineyards can be found in the western end of the valley, although there are vineyards on the higher slopes of the eastern side of the valley, where the famous restored Temple of Bacchus (Roman god of wine) can be found in Baalbek.
