Colchagua Valley Wine
The Colchagua Valley, along with Cachapoal and Apalta, is a part of the Rapel Valley. Wines from here can be labelled as either Colchagua or Rapel, with most producers only using the Rapel designation when blending grapes grown in at least two of the valleys. The Colchagua Valley has a reputation for producing the most succulent Carmeneres in Chile.
