Coonawara Wine
Coonawarra is a tiny wine region measuring just 9 miles long by a single mile wide. The crumbly red soils known as the Terra Rossa define the Coonawarra region. These free draining, iron-rich soils, combined with its relatively cool climate make it ideal for producing well balanced reds that would be the envy of many a Bordelaise.
