Curico Valley Wine

The Curico Valley has a temperate climate and a higher average annual rainfall than many of Chile’s other wine regions. Although the first vines were planted in the valley in the mid 19th Century modern winemaking practices did not take root until the 1970s. The valley has more different grape varieties than anywhere else in the country, enabling the production of a wide variety of wine styles.
