Uruguayan Wine
The sunny yet wet climate of Uruguay gives most of its wine regions more in common with Bordeaux than neighboring Argentina. Most of the vineyards are planted near the Atlantic coast, where the cooling sea breeze helps keep more freshness in the grapes.
