Foxwhelp Single Variety Cider, Ross on Wye Cider & Perry Co
Description
Another Off Year for Foxwhelp - on our farm, years ending in an even number are our low yield years for this variety. When the trees have less weight of fruit, they infuse that fruit with far greater intensity and flavour. This is a brilliant expression of British cider's most iconic cider apple. Foxwhelp has been grown in Herefordshire for over 400 years, and once you have tasted this cider you'll understand why. A vibrant, zingy cider with the tartiness of rhubarb, the aromas of strawberries and a punchy, refreshing flavour.

Producer Details
The Johnson family have been pressing apples and pears at Broome Farm since the 1930s. Today our natural cider and perry is produced in the same traditional way in the unique soil and climate of Herefordshire. The cidermaking is pure and simple, using only whole juice, and allowing natural fermentation.
Cidermaking on Broome Farm is more than business; it is a way of life, and a celebration of the tradition of cider. Into every batch of cider they produce goes a heartfelt belief in the superiority of a natural product over more processed commercial drinks. These natural cider and perry are made from pure apple and pear juice, pressedthemselves, mainly from their own orchards.
