L'Enchanteur de Vray Croix de Gay - MAGNUM
Description
MAGNUM. A blend of 95% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc. A mouth filling wine with a distinctly opulent feel. Sweet blackcurrant and black cherry aromas followed by perfumed violets come first, followed by a soft and velvety palate which has hints of dark chocolate and truffle-earthy richness. The tannins are nicely polished giving it all a silkiness which is very satisfying. It's aged in French oak for around 15 months which adds a few additional spicy notes adding an additional layer of interest to things. Altogether a lot going on here.
