English Wine

England produces world class sparkling wines using the same grape varieties as they do to make Champagne: Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay. The South of England also shares similar geology, with chalk and clay soils, to that found in Champagne. After many years of hard work, English Sparkling Wine is finally coming out of the shadows of its French mentor and declaring itself unique and delicious.
