Stéphane Derenoncourt has been consultant for many years and Rol Valentin is now one of the most sought-after Saint Emilion in Bordeaux. Opulent and complex on the nose with aromas of black cherry, ripe plums, violets and dark chocolate notes following through on to the well balanced and structured palate with elegant acidity, velvety tannins, excellent fruit and multi-layered spice on the long, lingering finish.
