Pavillon de Leoville Poyferre
Description
The outstanding second wine from Leoville Poyferre is filled with bright, fresh fruit - Morello cherries, sloes and hints of cedar and oak. Very much an example of a modern, flashy St. Julien, the palate is dense and opulent - full of the soft, yielding fruit Glossy deep dark fruit, white spice, sweet blueberries tumble into a long finish. It needs decanting at the moment and would benefit from a few more years ageing.
